The snooker world is buzzing with excitement as the World Championships unfold in Sheffield. This moment feels like the perfect time to unveil a new spring collection of prints. Cambridge City F.C. has always held a special place in my heart. As a local football club, it represents more than just the game; it’s part of the community’s fabric. Yet, for years, I hesitated to paint the club because they lacked a permanent home. After leaving their historic City Ground on Milton Road, the team played at St Ives Town and Histon F.C. Now, they have finally settled into a new stadium in Sawston. This move inspired me to create the painting.

Over the past few days, I have dedicated my time to painting the Truro City Stadium, home to Truro City F.C., a club competing in the National League. This project has been a long time coming, as I have been slowly working to complete a series of paintings featuring National League clubs.

Abbey Stadium has stood as a familiar landmark in Cambridge for decades. Recently, I completed a new painting of this iconic home ground of Cambridge United. While visiting the stadium to take preparatory photos, I noticed that not much had changed in the eight years since my last painting. In recent weeks I have started to paint the teams of the NFL. I've never really watched that much American Football, as we call it in England. It's been a real eye opener doing my research on the teams, locations and stadia. I was firstly surprised at the age of the stadia in use.
