Behind the Brush: Creating My Bedford Town FC Painting Journey
Painting a football club scene is always a unique challenge. This week, I’ve been working on a piece featuring Bedford Town FC, a club from the National League North. Bedford is less than 30 miles from where I live, yet it’s a place I’ve rarely visited. Capturing Nostalgia: My Retro Painting of Abbey Stadium and Cambridge United
Abbey Stadium has stood as a familiar landmark in Cambridge for decades. Recently, I completed a new painting of this iconic home ground of Cambridge United. While visiting the stadium to take preparatory photos, I noticed that not much had changed in the eight years since my last painting. The stadium still carries the same character, with the forecourt cluttered by a hand carwash that gives it a somewhat cluttered, almost Steptoe’s yard feel. Being born less than two miles

The Unmatched Value of Hand Painted Art Over Digital Creations.
West Ham United F.C Boleyn Tavern Pub. Art has evolved dramatically with technology, but the rise of digital and AI-generated art has sparked a debate about the value of traditional hand painted works. While digital art offers convenience and speed, it cannot replicate the depth, authenticity, and lasting appeal of hand painted art.
