Ive really enjoyed painting this scene of the Halliwell Jones Stadium. While researching the stadium I realised it had been built on the site of the old Tetley Walker Brewery. It was always a notable landmark for me when travelling through Warrington on the train.
I like how the painting has turned out. Theres plenty of content which always helps. The combination of sport and the pub go hand in hand so im certain other people should approve.
Im enjoying painting the Rugby League clubs so I shall be painting another one next. Ive already done over half. It's a shame the Super League only has 11 clubs. I expect I shall paint some from the Championship at some point.
