Tamworth FC has been a cornerstone of its community for nearly a century. Their home, The Lamb Ground, has witnessed 92 years of football history since opening in 1933. Recently, the club entered a new chapter with an American investment group taking ownership and appointing a new chairman. This change marks the end of a 40-year era under the previous owner and ushers in fresh hopes and maybe concerns for supporters. My latest painting of The Lamb Ground captures this moment

Cambridge City F.C. has always held a special place in my heart. As a local football club, it represents more than just the game; it’s part of the community’s fabric. Yet, for years, I hesitated to paint the club because they lacked a permanent home. After leaving their historic City Ground on Milton Road, the team played at St Ives Town and Histon F.C. Now, they have finally settled into a new stadium in Sawston. This move inspired me to create the painting.
