Celebrating Cambridge City F C New Stadium with My Latest Painting and Prints
Cambridge City F.C. has always held a special place in my heart. As a local football club, it represents more than just the game; it’s part of the community’s fabric. Yet, for years, I hesitated to paint the club because they lacked a permanent home. After leaving their historic City Ground on Milton Road, the team played at St Ives Town and Histon F.C. Now, they have finally settled into a new stadium in Sawston. This move inspired me to create the painting.
