El Derbi Madrileno. Atletico Madrid. Wanda Metropolitano Stadium.

This is my painting of the Wanda Metropolitano, home to Atletico Madrid. Im happy how its turned out. the rows of terracing became a bit tiresome but got there in the end.

The stadium architecture is quite a statement and not like any other I've seen before. Bravo to the Architects, football club and planning authorities. The illumination of the underside roof valance which emits a red glow made my choice to paint a night time composition a no brainer. I hope you like it. I should have some framed prints available in the next month or so.
