I've been looking forward to painting Damson Park for some time. Although I hear Solihull Moors results coming in on BBC Final Score every week I had no knowledge of the clubs stadium or history. Formed by the merger of Moor Green and Solihull Borough football clubs in 2007 the club has been steadily growing and have consolidated their National League status.
Its been a happy experience painting my scene of Damson Park. I focused on the Club Shop as its nice and vibrant, It show the clubs identity and its also nice to contrast the limited (although fantastic) amenities of lower league clubs.
